Having completed nine years of operations, Neighborhood National Bank has seen positive growth for itself and the community it serves since first opening in 1997.

For the year ended December 31, 2004 and 2005, NNB recorded a profit of $435,000 and $606,000 respectively, a return on assets of 0.59 % and 0.72 %, and for the three months ended March 31, 2006, the Bank’s unaudited profit totals $138,000.
At March 31, 2006, NNB’s net loan portfolio totaled $63.8 million, 53% of the loans are to commercial businesses and 46% of the loans are secured by commercial real estate (see loan growth charts, below).
NNB has developed more loan and deposit programs to meet customer needs and to continue to remain competitive in the markets being served.  At the end of 2003 the Bank implemented an online-banking system to provide those services to customers who prefer to utilize their computers to handle their banking needs.  In 2006 we expanded these services to include an online banking system better equipped to meet the needs of our business clientele.
The diversity of NNB’s customer base is reflected in the Bank’s staff, which collectively speaks five languages.
NNB received an “outstanding” rating during its first Community Reinvestment Act examination by the OCC in December 1999 and again from its most recent Community Reinvestment Act examination in May 2005.  It has been innovative in its loan programs such as lines of credit to minority contractors involved in the Market Creek Plaza project, and to rehabilitation and infill builders working in the Bank’s target market.  NNB also provides loans and deposit services to various community organizations including churches and non-profit corporations.  Both NNB’s directors and its management serve on boards of various community organizations and government task forces.
Through an affiliate, Neighborhood Opportunities Corporation (NOC), financial literacy training is made available to many organizations in the community including those that provide Individual Depository Accounts (IDA’s) and use NNB as a depository.
