SAN DIEGO, CA — April 14, 2007 — Neighborhood National Bank (NNB) announced today that Bob McGill will become the financial institution’s interim president and CEO.  After five years of service, Bob Adkins has stepped down to accept an exciting new career opportunity.
"Mr. Adkins has helped NNB further its mission to serve as San Diego’s only community development financial institution.  He initiated many efforts that have proved beneficial to community banks and the San Diego region at large.  He has done a great job for NNB and we wish him well on his future undertaking," stated Mark Riedy, Chairman of Neighborhood Bancorp, the holding company for Neighborhood National Bank.

Veteran San Diego banker Robert McGill will resume his position as bank head upon Adkins departure.  As founder of the bank, McGill served as NNB’s president and CEO for 5 years prior to Adkins’ tenure.  Still serving as Chairman of the Board, McGill will don yet another hat until a qualified candidate is selected.
